Uplifting News from LIFTECH
Flexibility is key to us. Standard designs? Sure
we have them. It’s just that no one sells them.
Mike Jones of Technical Equipment in Kansas City, MO. sent us a sketch
of his customers cramped installation with an existing tank and mixer 11
feet high. The job was to provide
a lifter starting 8 feet above the floor and lifting 76 inches.
The final design is a lifter almost 16 feet tall when at the top of its
lift.
With good selling on Mikes’ part, we got the order. The design also had
to span a weigh scale and not use a safety belt and tank proximity
switch, which would interfere with accurate weighing.
The down position proximity switch on the air / hydraulic lifter is
provided to insure the mixer can’t operate until in the lowered
position, and the weight of the tank contents keeps the tank in
place on the weigh scale.
Safety in Lifting, that’s our goal.
Thanks for the good work, Mike, and I hope you and your customer enjoy
the golf shirts.
Thanks also for making us aware of another way to provide safety when
lifting mixers. This is a good, sound, economical design that we are now
adding to our standard selections.
